338 win mag handloads at the range

We test the 338 handloads made in the video linked below. We also shot some 30-06 loads made on the same Lee hand press.
The results are discussed in the debriefing towards the end of the video.
As a side note, we discovered an interesting optical illusion phenomenon with red on targets. There was a pretty good mirage as it was, but the red on the targets exhibited an apparent movement relative to the black background of the target. This occurred through a VX3 leupold on 8 power.
It wasn't a parallax reticle shift. It was just the red diamonds on the target that appeared to move with eye alignment behind the scope.

Has anyone else experienced anything like that?
