I’m going to show you all about the brush settings inside of Photoshop. Once you understand the basics it will give you a lot more creative freedom to create exactly what you want.

I’m not going to go into how to create a brush, save brushes and brush sets or how to load them into Photoshop. That will come later. This tutorial is about adjustments to pre-existing brush presets.

It’s important to get comfortable working with the brush preset panel. Begin making a few brushes from presets. When you’re confident with this panel, you can move on. Start creating brushes from scratch, saving brushes, sets, and your own brush libraries.

In the future, I will put out a video that is going to walk you step-by-step through everything I mentioned. Everything from importing, exporting, saving brush sets and more. In this tutorial, we’re going to stay focused. The focus is on brush settings and the control panels within the brush settings area.
