Hello, neighbor, this is Curt with etrailer, and today we're gonna be taking a look at the SCRUBBLADE heavy duty windshield wipers on our 2021 Newmar Bay Star Model 3626 motor home. Over time on your motor home, your bus, or your commercial truck, your windshield wipers are gonna take a bit of a beating, getting all of that highway time. These are the old blades that we took off, and as you can see, there's a lot of warping. They're not really straight anymore. There's some dry rot that looks to be setting in and even though you can't pick it up on camera, if you rub your finger across it, there's a lot of nicks and things, and that makes me think that these are gonna do a better job of smearing your windshield than it will actually cleaning it off. The heavy duty wipers that we've got from SCRUBBLADE today have a dual blade to it, so it's gonna do a really good job of clearing off any of that moisture, that rain and things like that.

But it also doubles up in that it has this textured edge to it, and that's gonna do a really good job of getting that heavier stuff off of there, like bug splatters and such. It's gonna be a galvanized steel frame, so it's gonna be extremely resistant to any kind of corrosion. And the 32-inch blade, it is specifically built to go onto a windshield of this size, the same curvature, and there are gonna be eight different pressure points on it that's gonna help support that curvature, however it ends up. Installation is a breeze as well. So we'll show you how to put it on right now.

So the first thing I need to do is remove my old wiper, and these are the typical J style connections that you find on a lot of vehicles, so you may be familiar with it. I just need to depress this tab. And once I do that, slide it on out of position, get it over here, get this section cleared out of our way so I can feed it through and off. Now, I'm gonna take my new blade, clear that section out again, slip it right over, push that back in, and then I'm gonna slide it back into place. Once I hear that click, I know it's locked into position.

There are some guards on the edges of your wipers. We won't be needing those, so we'll slip those off.
