In this video, we begin a brand new project—building a traditional dry stone wall to surround the lawn beside the old granary building. With no machinery in sight, I spent the past month hand-digging reclaimed stone and rocks from the garden and yard area around the granary in preparation for the build.

This is Part 1 of our dry stone wall series, where I share the process of gathering the reclaimed rocks and stone, and a first look at the vision for transforming this space into a walled lawn garden.
