About the Soloist: Gerald is a sophomore at Loyola High School with a 4.04+ GPA and a deep love for both math and music. He enjoys expressing himself through multiple instruments: guitar, piano, drums, and alto saxophone, and is a proud member of the Mighty Roar Band and Loyola Symphony. Music is truly one of his passions, and he brings joy and dedication to everything he plays.

Director and conductor Karoline Menezes is a Brazilian artist from the beautiful coastal city of João Pessoa. She began her journey studying Music and Law in Brazil before moving to the United States, where she earned full-scholarship degrees from Azusa Pacific University and the University of Southern California. Karoline has performed at renowned venues around the world, including Sala São Paulo, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Centro Cultural de Belém and Walt Disney Concert hall.

Now based in Los Angeles, her work bridges orchestral, chamber, TV and film, and live performance, with collaborations alongside artists such as Elton John, Adele, Eminem, Sting, Andrea Bocelli, Shawn Mendes, The Eagles, The Weeknd, The Midnight Hour and many more.

The orchestra is made up of talented Loyola High School students, thoughtfully trained and guided by Director Karoline Menezes.
