We had an incredible opportunity to trek Kanchanjunga in April 2025! As the third-highest mountain in the world at 8,586 meters (28,169 feet), located in the easternmost part of Nepal. Kanchanjunga is a hidden gem. Compared to other mountains, it sees fewer tourists due to its remote location, distance from Kathmandu, and adventurous nature, which makes it slightly more expensive. However, its untouched beauty and authentic local culture make it a truly unique experience. This trek allows you to visit both the North and South Base Camps, making it one of the most breathtaking journeys in Nepal.

Unfortunately, this time we couldn’t reach the base camps as planned due to challenging weather conditions and some health issues within our group. Prioritizing safety over pushing forward, our journey was cut short, and we only reached Gunsa Village. Despite this, the trek was unforgettable and filled with wonderful moments, lots of fun. We believe everything happens for a reason, and we embraced the experience with positivity, confident that another opportunity awaits us in the future.
