This little ball of fur was brought in to us, after spending a night and part of the following day not moving on the ground. Bats hibernate, so it's very unusual to see one at this time of year, let alone during the day time! She was very thin and dehydrated, so we gave her some yummy mealworms with lectade. After an hour or so, she had perked up a little bit, which is a very good sign!

She will now be taken on by our specialist bat carer, who will look after her, check if she can fly properly and release her when she has fully recovered.
