Welcome to our Moment of the Day!

It's a segment that airs at the end of the 4 p.m. newscast weekdays on 5 on Your Side, and it's become hugely popular.

When it first began at the start of the pandemic, in March of 2020, we were calling it "Lemonade." As in, let's make lemonade out of lemons during stay-at-home orders!

We got the idea after a viewer sent a photo showing her cutting her husband's hair, saying they were both making the best out of having to quarantine in the house.

From that one photo, the floodgates opened, and viewers have sent us hundreds of photos since.

Please feel free to send photos or video of your special moments during the pandemic to [email protected]

Please include your name, and just a little explanation about what's happening in the photo.

Send as many photos as you like, but please know that we will likely only use one. And because of the large numbers of submissions, we will likely wait a little while before using your additional photos if you've already seen yours on the air.

Our goal is to give everyone a chance to be part of our Moment, and see their photo, and hear their name on TV!
