Try this simple approach for painting white clouds that have interest and sparkle

Blue skies and puffy white clouds are one of the quintessential joys of the landscape! They remind me of being a kid laying in the grass watching the clouds go by. When painting white clouds, white is actually the color to use the least! Instead, we want a beautiful play on color to create interest and sparkle.

I have a simple approach for achieving this in the luminous pigments of soft pastel! You can take this technique and apply it to all types of white cloud scenes. Relax and enjoy!
