Here’s how I created this simple protective style! Cornrows with added hair and Teal color.

I’ve always loved this teal color and will use it on my hair, every opportunity I get! I wanted to put my hair way and protect it from the elements but I didn’t want a hairstyle that would take me too long, so I decided to do this hairstyle.

As usual, I started on freshly washed and moisturized hair which I detangled and stretched a bit by putting them in twists and air drying it overnight. My hair was still a little bit damp when I started the hairstyle so that was fine, I added a little with of styling cream and brushed my hair a bit as well. I always love styling my hair when it’s well moisturized and detangled.

This hair took me 4 hours to do and I plan to keep it in for 2 to 3 weeks.

During the time I’ll have this hairstyle, I will hydrate & moisturize it twice a week by spraying water on it to make it slightly damp and apply hair cream to my scalp, leave-in conditioner or moisturizer and then seal it with oil.
