Here are some tips on how to prevent your jump ropes from breaking and make it last longer 😊

1️⃣ Rope Length
Having the right rope length will not just lessen your chance to trip but also avoid the additional stress on the rope from the extra drag when it’s too long.

2️⃣ Jump Surface
The most common reason why the rope breaks in the middle is when you’re jumping on a corrosive surface, try to use a mat or jump on a more smoother floor.

3️⃣ Technique
The most common reason why ropes snap at the handle is when your not using your wrist to rotate with the rope and instead you’re just letting it rotate at the handles with your wrist lock to the side. This will cost too much friction and making the rope weaker and likely to snap.

4️⃣ Lubricant
Adding a drop of any type of lubricant (WD-40, Petroleum Jelly, Grease) at the contact point where the rope hits the handle will give you a smoother spin and lessen the friction.

5️⃣ Extra Protection
Our handles are very durable but can still break if it hits hard on the ground so for tricks involving releases, make sure to wrap your handles with a grip tape or any other tape (duct tape, electric tape) for additional protection
