• Spirit given for service not self-benefit - "Do not seek Christ or spirit of God for any selfish purpose or idea it's going to do great things for you. You are going to be lesser reason. • Purification prerequisite - Before entering "throne of grace" must release all condemnation/judgment/resentment toward family/students/patients/enemies/world; only purified consciousness can receive/transmit spirit; "There is therefore now no condemnation in my consciousness"
• Awareness develops gradually - Most move from occasional glimpses divine presence to sustained awareness; from Paul's "I live yet not I Christ liveth" to Jesus's "I and Father are one"; sense of overshadowing presence - not person/entity but something tangible
• Called by devotion - Know whether called by degree of devotion placing into study/meditation/practice; if too busy/find boring/forget days - not called; if something within forces you study despite no visible demonstration - called
• Human condition = separation - All created equal with fullness of God but through Garden of Eden experience lost conscious awareness of God as life/mind/spirit/body; spiritual work restoration of awareness; moment sense separation dissipated, no longer human being
• Path of practice - Purify yourself all condemnation → sit silence without words/thoughts → wait for spirit come → let flow freely; daily meditation consistently maintained how spirit gradually makes evident until "day of transition"
