recorded 5.24 to 6.1.2024. This is the vertical video footage I took to make Shorts. It starts with little baby bunny Daikon reaching for grass above her head instead of on the ground. I love her wobbly hind leg walk!! Then there's grooming, sniffing, and lots of nibbling.
Daikon is a bit shyer than her older cousin Turnip, but is quickly warming up to me, thanks in part to Turnip's trust in me. She's about 3-weeks-old and has recently left her nest area. She found Turnip's home and decided to make it her own too. Daikon radishes are long and white so I thought it would be the perfect name for this sweet lil bun with the big bright white blaze on her forehead.

All the bunnies on this channel are eastern cottontails (Sylvilagus floridanus), the most common rabbit species in North America. Chances are high that if you see a wild bunny in your yard, it's an eastern cottontail.
