4.4 Drawing Structural Isomers | Organic Chemistry

Chad goes into detail regarding how to take a systematic approach to drawing all of the structural isomers of a hydrocarbon (i.e. drawing all constitutional isomers). He begins the lesson by showing how to calculate the degrees of unsaturation or the Hydrogen Deficiency Index (HDI) based upon a molecular formula. He then goes on to demonstrate how to draw all of the structural isomers for C7H16 and C4H10O.
