This is off the front camera of my old phone…hence kinda low res, but happy to find a document of this old ABBA tune, as I don’t play it much.

Rurgar Gunnarsson….played bass on many an ABBA track, which added a fabulous depth to these melancholy songs. Unusual melodic choices, giving a lovely counterpoint to the vocal lines….really floats my boat! It’s this idea that’s sometimes missed out on in contemporary popular music. Great bass n drums, arranged well, pushes the story of a song along….so, as much as I’m a chordsmith, that bass line is a crucial descriptive, and so much fun to add under your triads, hey?
