2D movie converted to 3D stereoscopacy using AI depthmap generation and Davinci Resolve. Keyframing depth/convergeance distance to achieve more involvement with the viewer.
As movies of the '80s and '90s missed the boat of 3D cinema, I'm in the process (and learning) of converting these 'old' movies myself.
Mortal Kombat 1995 is still the best Mortal Kombat movie and it was actually a joy to convert it to 3D. It was a lot of work (lost of keyframing), but so worthwhile. It was as if the director always wanted the movie to be in 3D.

This was the first scene I ever saw of the movie, back in the day.

Currently have converted 4 movies, and with each one I learned a bit more and improved the conversions a lot.
I regularly stream my 3D conversions on Bigscreen Beta, if I'm not finalizing a conversion or my computer isn't busy rendering a 3D conversions. Generally this will be on the weekends in the evening/night (Central European Time) or Wednesday evenings (but not everytime).
Even though I'm still learning new tricks, I'll try to go for high quality 3D conversions as much as one person can achieve within reasonable time. These aren't fully automated (AI) conversions, so they take a bit more time to achieve, but the end result is much more pleasing and involving the viewer, as a 3D movie should.
