Tan Huibing is a counsellor who provides psychological and emotional support to cancer patients and their significant others. After work, Huibing volunteers for Runninghour, an inclusive running club that pairs able-bodied guides with people of various physical and intellectual disabilities. In the last five years, Huibing has been running with these buddies weekly, rain or shine.

An animal lover since young, it is a dream come true for Teo Hsin Ching to be working with horses as a volunteer with EQUAL, a charity that provides Equine-Assisted Learning programmes for youths, elderly, and families caring for people with special needs. The human resource executive spends every weekend caring for the 16 horses at the stable and facilitating horse-assisted therapy for EQUAL’s beneficiaries.
