Alastair knew nothing about MS when he was diagnosed in August 1999. He says the doctor told him he had MS and walked away. He didn’t know where to turn, or where to go to. Alastair hopes the campaign means no one has to go through what he has and wants to spread awareness of the severity of MS.

We’ve been funding research since 1953, but we’ve never been closer to stopping MS than we are today. We just need one last big investment. We believe £100 million could take us to a future where no one has to worry about their MS getting worse. So we’ve launched our biggest ever fundraiser: the Stop MS Appeal.
