Throughout the month of October, the faculty and staff of the Rutgers Cooperative Extension Office of Monmouth County present topics related to the New Jersey harvest.

The second session of our series begins with Senior FCHS Extension Associate Rachel Tansey as she provides nutritional information about various popular foods found during the harvest season.

Rutgers Master Gardener Jane Sims then gives a presentation about various herbs that can be used for cooking, with a special focus on marigolds.

Lastly, 4-H Program Associate Virginia Krzyzanowski shares some fun science activities that can be done with young people.
