Today we are taking a look at a new model from Cuervo y Sobrinos, a not so known brand that has almost 100 years of watchmaking under their belt.
The HIstoriador Landeron is a reissue of their chronograph from 1946. What impresses the most is the fact they use the same movement that was used in the original, a manual wind Landeron 248 that has been restored. That means they had to find and restore at least 200 of these movements as the watch comes in white and black dial variants with a limited production of 100 pieces each.
With 40mm in diameter and the huge spider lugs it wears quite large, but is still managable, while the white dial and heat blued hands really make it pop.
