Otokar is pushing the envelope in modern warfare with a new variant of its Tulpar-S light tracked vehicle — now featuring an advanced autonomous 25mm turret. Designed for hybrid warfare and evolving battlefields, the latest Tulpar-S reflects key trends in today’s armored vehicle market: mobility, modularity, and automation.
One Platform, Multiple Missions
Tulpar-S isn’t just an Infantry Fighting Vehicle — it’s a multi-role tracked platform. Built for adaptability, it can be configured as an APC, command post, medevac, or engineering support vehicle. This modular approach simplifies logistics, training, and maintenance, saving costs while boosting tactical flexibility.
Despite its versatility, the vehicle remains compact and agile. Weighing up to 17 tons and carrying up to 10 personnel (driver, commander + 8 troops), it measures just 5.7m in length, 2.9m wide, and 2.1m high — making it ideal for urban operations and air transport.
High Mobility Meets Amphibious Performance
Powered by a 360hp turbocharged diesel engine, the Tulpar-S can reach speeds of over 70 km/h on land and 8+ km/h in water. Thanks to its torsion bar suspension, automatic track tensioning, and the option of rubber or steel tracks, it can tackle any terrain — from urban streets to soft ground.
A Smart, Digital Battlefield Node
The Tulpar-S is loaded with advanced survivability and situational awareness systems:
CBRN protection
Automatic fire suppression
Mine-resistant seating
Integrated GPS/INS navigation, diagnostics, and driver/commander displays via Otokar’s Armadronics system
This transforms it into a fully networked battlefield asset, capable of acting as a command node in a digital war environment.
Next-Gen Autonomous Turret: Bozok 25 MKT
The centerpiece of this configuration is the Bozok 25 MKT turret — fully uncrewed and remotely operated. Previously mounted on wheeled platforms like the Arma 6x6 and Akrep IIe, it’s now integrated into a tracked chassis for enhanced firepower and stability.
Features include:
25mm automatic cannon with dual-feed for switching between ammo types (e.g. AP and HE)
Coaxial machine gun for light targets
Day/thermal optics, stabilized for precision on-the-move targeting
Ammunition (approx. 210 rounds) can be reloaded from inside the hull, ensuring crew safety
Designed for the Future
The turret is modular by design, supporting 25–35mm cannons from industry leaders like Northrop Grumman and Rheinmetall. Optional features include an independent commander’s sight — a growing standard in modern combat for improved situational awareness and reduced reaction time.
Tulpar-S with its new autonomous turret is more than a combat vehicle — it’s a future-ready platform built for modern conflict. Whether in peacekeeping operations or high-intensity warfare, it offers unmatched adaptability, digital integration, and combat readiness.
🛡️ Mobility. Modularity. Automation.
🚀 Ready for the next generation of hybrid warfare.
