A tour of a 600 year old Farm Cottage in Cornwall, England

Hello friends, today I am taking you on a quick tour of this amazing cottagecore farmhouse in the Cornish countryside (England).

It's located in Tintagel, which most people visit for the castle owned by English Heritage. But for me, this is one of the most amazing National Trust cottages you could ever visit and well worth a trip to the town (even if, like we found the castle is shut due to high winds).

The Old Post Office (which was only a letter house / post office for 11 years of it's 600 year life) was one of the first acquisitions of the National Trust and has been lovingly cared for by them for over 100 years.

Acquired in 1903, this amazing 14th-century yeoman's farmhouse is the Trust's first built property in Cornwall. It has the most unusual wavy slate roof and looks like something out of the Hobbit, Harry Potter or some other magical story.

The name (which you are probably wondering about) is from the Victorian period when it briefly held a licence to be the letter receiving station for the district.
