Where do I start with Action Doom?! Fronted by none other than legendary Doomworld mainstay and sprite-manipulator Scuba Steve, this is one of the most well known and highly regarded total conversions for Doom in its near 30 year history!

If you've never played this, it's basically Doom meets Contra or Metal Slug, a love letter to the side scrolling 2D shooters of the late 80s/early 90s! It's fast, frantic and f$@%ing FUN!

I'm playing the Rampage Edition that was just released at the start of this month(November 2022). It's basically the first Action Doom, but the maps have been reworked to look and play better, and the mod overall has been completely revamped to take advantage of GZDoom's latest features. In Part 1 of my full playthrough, you'll be seeing random explosions, projectiles flying across the screen, more random explosions, missile turrets everywhere, forest ninjas, yet more 'splosions and even toxic UAC snails! You can hit the link to check it out down below.
