Three months after the start of the war, it seems that the Israeli media is “in love” with the flattering ratings – so claim researchers Dr. Yuval Karniel and Noam Manella. According to them, Israeli journalists are afraid to challenge the national consensus and therefore avoid upsetting the public. As a result, they do not present a true picture of events on the battlefield. “The media has fallen in love with its role as a unifier," the two claim in an interview with INSS researcher Attila Somfalvi.
