It worked! The easiest and cheapest way to stop cats pooping in my garden!

BUT - a month or two back the poo was back, just as smelly and messy as before - horrible ... and then I remembered hearing about how cats could be scared off by the simple and cheap trick of just placing a clear bottle of water on the soil surface ...
And so, as well as my previous method removing the poo (as that will attract the cats back to their own smell) and adding some sweet smelling herb leaves to the soil surface, I then put the not quite full bottle of water on the soil surface and waited ... I was half expecting the cats to have pooed right next to it ... but amazingly we have not seen any poo or cats near that area since!
