Amidst the backdrop of an adventurous road trip, our journey led us to Scottburgh, a hidden gem illuminated by the allure of mystery as we travelled in the dark. Upon our arrival at our accommodation, we savoured the satisfying dish of fish-and-chips we ordered, a welcome reward after a long day. As the sun unveiled the morning, we were greeted by a breathtaking panorama — the symphony of beach waves, verdant wilderness and an exquisite river estuary adorned with graceful bridges. Our exploration of the town exposed its captivating charm, paving the way for a visit to Crocworld, an encounter that left us in awe of the sheer magnitude of these creatures. The injured, yet magnificent, African Fish Eagle stood as a testament to resilience, etching itself into our hearts.
