How much do you know about your community’s traditional culture? Well in Meru one man has taken it upon himself to document the Meru culture. 84 year old John Kithigir who even faced excommunication from church over his initiative has collected over 300 items that were used by the Meru community back in the day. And as Rita Tinina reports not even offers of money by tourists and the Kenya National Museums of Kenya will get him to part with the items.
