Metrotown mall, Metropolis, RainForrest Cafe in 1999 and...

These are my 8mm camcorder videos which I had videotaped in 1999, 2000, of Metrotown Mall and "Metropolis at Metrotown" mall in Burnaby B.C. Also includes Rainforest Cafe on the second level and the entrance of SilverCity on the third level.
This interior of this mall was different back then for several reasons. You can see where the old food court was.
The two malls were joined by a narrow bridge passageway (you can see in this video how crowed it was on that busy day where it shows people cramped in this passageway). This bridge, located on the second level, was the only way to get to & from the two malls without going outside.
The mall's food court was in a different location. It was located on the first level. There were stairs in the middle of that Food Court going to & from the second level. Today, the area of the old Food Court is now a continuation of the mall that joins to the other mall on the first level, so you don't have to be on the second level to cross to the other mall. And the area that the food court was in, has been widen and stores added and the stairs removed and te hole in the ceiling where the stairs were, was plugged. There is no longer any hint that the stairs were ever there!
Nearby there was Metropolis which had Playdium, RainForest Café on the second floor. And on the third floor, Silvercity.
