NOLI ME TANGERE | A Short Film

This is a gripping short film adaptation of Jose Rizal's iconic novel. Set against the backdrop of 19th-century Philippines under Spanish colonial rule, the film vividly brings to life the struggles and aspirations of its memorable characters. Through the eyes of Juan Crisostomo Ibarra, a young idealist returning from Europe, the narrative delves into themes of social injustice, forbidden love, and the relentless fight for freedom. The people behind this short film adaptation are the students of Marketing Management 2202 of the Batangas State University The National Engineering University - JPLPC Malvar Campus. This is a partial fulfillment of their course curriculum on Life & Works of Rizal (GED 103) as instructed by Ms. Mae Ann O. Solomon, a guest lecturer from CABEIHM.
