The initial checkout of a Galaxy 16" oscillating stand fan model 4716. This fan was found out for the trash collection, and in this case, it looks like it was actually discarded for a reason other than being dirty. My speculation would be the fan tipped over at some point while it was turned on with oscillation engaged and caused the motor to partially stall and overheat. I suppose it's also possible that enough dust accumulated to restrict adequate air flow during normal operation, but I don't think it was quite there yet.
