Cable Clutch Adjustment - High Clutch, Slipping Gear Changes

Описание к видео Cable Clutch Adjustment - High Clutch, Slipping Gear Changes

Many thanks to Eric for his useful tutorial, helped me gain the basic knowledge.
Check out his video:    • How To Adjust A Cable Operated Clutch...

This video should cover multiple different car makes and models with cable fitted clutch activators.
Clutch slipping? Gear changes feel janky? Is your clutch pedal too high and uncomfortable?

This simple tutorial teaches you how to adjust your cable and change the position of where the clutch activates the drive to your wheels.

The car in the video is a Daihatsu Sirion 1.3 from 2010.
This engine is also found in many different models made by Toyota, Subaru and Perodua.
However, as mentioned, many different car makes and models will use this rubber ring screw method.

Another common method for adjusting the clutch cable will be via locking nuts. For this, you will need two wrenches, one to hold a nut whilst the other adjusts it. Similar to how I show you in this video - one rotation will loosen the cable and the other will tighten it.
