Concussion in Sport | Ireland AM

Wednesday saw the launch of the Oireachtas Joint Committee report on 'Concussion in Sport', which hopes to implement a taskforce to ensure the safety of elite players right down to schoolgoers in sport.
Three years ago Mark McGovern played his first and only game for the Ulster football club in San Francisco. During the second half of the game he was assaulted by another player and suffered a severe brain injury which left him fighting for his life. He is now an ambassador for Acquired Brain Injury Ireland and joins us now alongside their communications manager, Karen O'Boyle.
