“A Story about magical kindness”
It was a sunny early morning. I was 14, alone in this new city. I was waiting the bus to go to art school and take my exams.
All my thoughts were about the importance of what I’ll be doing in a few hours. I was worried: so many concurrent, so few places. The bus was late, and my stress was growing up.

Suddenly I felt a calm and kind regard of an old woman. She smiled at me and said: “You are so beautiful!”

She sounds so sincere. There were sparkles in her eyes and her face was covered with millions tinny wrinkles, which made her looks like an enchantress.

I woke up from my tense state.

At this moment, she didn't just change my energy. But, who knows, maybe she changed my life forever. I didn't realize immediately how important was the lesson she gave me.

I don’t know what her name was and I don’t remember her face, but I still remember that admiring others makes life beautiful. Smiling to others makes everything shine around.

That day, I passed the exams and was admitted in art school.

I learned that there is no better, but just different. That beauty comes from so many angles and colors. That people who have seen so much, lived so much, suffered so much are incredibly kind and have so big heart that they can see the beauty in every living being, in every tree, in every single day.

There are always thousand reasons to be angry, to be sad, to be mean... and just one to be good: to want it.
