Denis Muigai Ngengi the man who claimed to be an eye witness in the Nyeri governor Dr Gakuru Wahome car accident has been arrested
Muigai was arrested last night by CID officers in a probe ordered by Inspector general of police. Ngengi, was interviewed on Citizen TV on Tuesday, claimed to have witnessed the accident that claimed Dr Gakuru’s life near Kabati on the Thika-Sagana highway. Two weeks ago, he told NTV news crew at the scene of the Lake Nakuru helicopter crash where five people died that he was a “State pilot”, a friend and colleague of the deceased pilot.
