Uncontrolled and Controlled components are terms used to describe React JS HTML form elements.

In this tutorial we will build a simple product form that will highlight the main differences between them.

Every time we use an HTML input element we are creating one of those two.

A controlled component renders form elements and controls them by keeping the form data in the state.In the case of uncontrolled components, a reference is created using useRef hook which will store the input value for the title.

The reference is transmitted to the input element through the property ref.

The react is the one in control, so it is predictable what the values are, instead more problems may occur in the case of uncontrolled components such as loss of reference or change of values from the outside.
