Polyclad Easy hot wire TIG/GTAW welding is presented with bi-cathode TIGer lance.

TIGer technology is a variant of the Hot Wire TIG/GTAW welding principle. A significant amount of investigation enabled Polysoude to define the combination of optimum operating conditions and torch design required to obtain the best levels of performance.
The optimised welding speeds are of the order of 70 to 90 cm/min with deposition rates of between 2.5 and 6kg/h. i.e. about 3 times more than with the TIG hot wire technology.
Once the investment has been made, a machine fitted with the TIGer technology will prove to be profitable and economical allowing a 20 à 50 % drop in operating costs per kilogram of weld metal.

Polysoude's orbital welding technique offers a reliable process that guarantees the efficiency of assembly techniques to meet specific requirements and materials.
