We had to leave the Philippines again for work, which meant saying goodbye to the kids. It was tough leaving all three of them behind, and Kim definitely felt the mum guilt.

One silver lining of the trip was the chance to shop for the kids in Japan. Everything is so much more affordable there with tax-free discounts (10% off!) and the current great exchange rate. We managed to pick out their Christmas gifts and bring back something special for each of them.
To make up for the time apart, we planned a trip to our favorite family-friendly beach near Bataan. The area is known for its stunning beaches, but this one is extra special because it’s so kid-friendly. There’s a dedicated play area, a kids’ pool, and even an air-conditioned playroom for when it gets too hot. Plus, the bathrooms are always spotless, and they provide toiletries, which makes the whole experience super convenient.

We can’t wait to enjoy some much-needed quality time together as a family and make up for the time we missed!
