InterContinental Montreal - Hotel Review 2021

The Intercontinental Hotel Montreal was initially not on our list of hotels to visit in the capital of Quebec. We had originally booked the DoubleTree by Hilton. But the staff was on strike, and since the owner of the DoubleTree also owns the InterContinental, we were moved there for the same rate and the same Hilton Honors Diamond benefits.
It sounded like a good deal, but it turned out that it wasn't.
Only the Lobby, Restaurant, and Bar are well taken care of. The elevators, rooms, and spa area are long past their peak! This hotel needs an extensive renovation, badly.
I cannot recommend staying here, even though the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. Luckily, Montreal has many hotels to choose from!
