Streets Alive Mission raised around $65,000 this past weekend during the Coldest Night of the Year event. Officials with the Christian organization said more funds are set to come in. Members of the community walked around the Lethbridge downtown core to raise funds and show support for our most vulnerable. Jennifer Lepko, the director of Fund Development for Streets Alive Mission talked about how many walkers braved the cold for the special event.

Wood’s Homes Lethbridge also took part in the Coldest Night of the Year walk at Henderson Lake and raised just under $6,000 to put toward the Emergency Youth Shelter here in our city.
