A severe cold wave has engulfed North India, with temperatures plummeting to sub-zero levels in several regions. The Dal Lake in Kashmir has frozen over, with minimum temperatures reaching -7°C. In Uttarakhand's Chamoli, waterfalls and streams have frozen at -5°C. Shimla is expecting heavy snowfall, while Delhi experienced light rainfall with temperatures at 7°C, predicted to fall further.
