Lurie Children’s Supportive Program for a Range of Urogenital Traits, or SPROUT, unites pediatric experts in endocrinology, genetics, urology, psychology and other specialties, to support patients with differences of sex development (DSD) and their families.
Our interdisciplinary team works together to provide care for your family no matter where you are on this journey. This includes prenatal consults, diagnosis and ongoing care. We also provide mental health support for our patients and families and can make connections to other parents and advocacy groups as well. As part of our comprehensive care, we offer fertility preservation options for patients with certain types of DSD diagnoses and are engaged in research studies to improve the lives of our patients and those in generations to come.
