Ahmad notes that despite current temperatures dropping to minus 25 degrees centigrade in areas like Mini-marg, the completed tunnel will provide a comfortable and reliable route for both civilians and army personnel, bypassing the extreme cold and heavy snowfall that historically isolated the region for months.
