The Ahilya Path project in Indore, recently approved by the Indore Development Authority (IDA), is a significant development aimed at improving the city's infrastructure. This 15-kilometer road, which will eventually expand to a width of 90 meters, is designed as a carbon-neutral roadway. It will connect the Indore airport to the Ujjain road, passing through various villages, including Rinjlay and Revati.

The project includes multiple phases and features green spaces, walkways, and bicycle tracks to promote sustainable transportation. Additionally, the road is expected to alleviate traffic congestion in the city's central areas and open up new economic opportunities, such as the development of a Fintech City and a Golf City along its route.

However, the project has faced concerns from local villagers about potential displacement and fairness in land acquisition. In response, Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silawat has assured residents that the government will handle the project with sensitivity, ensuring that the interests of the poor and common people are prioritized.
