I'm making this video because I couldn't find a video on how to replace a cable on this type of throttle lever. It's pretty easy to take apart the throttle lever and then replace the cable. This is an MTD / Cub Cadet Throttle / Choke Lever with the cable. These are for riding mowers and zero turns. When you buy this throttle cable it has the lever already installed. I have a mower that the lever broke off. So I ordered a replacement and the cable was too short. I just opened the lever and replaced the short cable with the correct cable. Worked great.
