STL files are useless? No! Design an F16 RC Model in fusion 360 from STL file

Well, we could start from images, but why not start from a readily available static model available online? The problem is that it is an STL file. How do you use these types of files in fusion 360? How can you reference geometry from a model like this? This is a multi part video series on the design of this F16 model.
