John Rigby's Mauser Broomhandle: A Closer Look at An Early Rigby Marked C/96 Pistol

Описание к видео John Rigby's Mauser Broomhandle: A Closer Look at An Early Rigby Marked C/96 Pistol

Today we're looking at a very nice example of an early British Retailer marked Mauser C/96 Broomhandle pistol. These guns were imported into the UK in about 1896-97, probably by Westley Richards. This particular pistol was then sent to John Rigby & Co, London, to be sold by them. It's so marked on the barrel in a beautiful script engraving. Many Mauser pistols were sold by individual British retailers, and are so marked on the barrel or sides. John Rigby examples are fairly scarce, and we take a closer look at this very interesting and unusual early C/96 Mauser Conehammer pistol.
