In order to enhance the sound quality of your audio, it is essential to utilize an audio equalizer effectively. Audacity provides a user-friendly platform to perform this task seamlessly. To begin, import the desired audio file into Audacity by navigating to the "File" menu and selecting "Import."

After importing the audio, double-click on the file to select it. Proceed by clicking on the "Effect" menu and then selecting "EQ and Filters." Here, you have the option to choose either the Filter Curve EQ or the Graphic EQ. For this tutorial, we will focus on the Filter Curve EQ.

To achieve optimal results, choose the "Low Rolloff for Speech" preset from the dropdown menu. This preset effectively reduces any unwanted low-frequency noises in the audio. Once this is done, it is time to add some enhancements. Amplify the treble by clicking on the 5000 Hz point on the graph and adjusting it to around 3 db. Next, add another point at 4000 Hz.

To create a more balanced sound, drag the point at 16000 Hz downwards to a value below -24 db. Now that you have successfully adjusted the equalizer settings, you can save it for later use. Simply click on the "Presets" button and choose "Save Preset." Provide a name for the preset and click "OK." To apply the preset to future audio files, load it and click "Apply."
