This mod was quite an ambitious creature, looking back. Even if what was made ended up being rather polarizing in the years after. A mod where you're playing a security guard, before Blue Shift took the world by storm. Well, less a storm and more moderate breeze, but it was another HL1 expansion from Gearbox. Most'll probably argue that BShift's better than ASheep, and I'd agree with them.

As with the first entry of a mod wirejam series, I suppose I should start detailing what makes this particular setup unique. Unlike BShift, you can't change your weapons instantly. Have to play a holstering animation first before drawing a new weapon. Sort of wish that more changes were done to differentiate a security guard from big soldier PCV men or HEV power armor dude, but that alone already messes with the combat more than what BShift did. I kinda like it, though I probably would've made the holster/draw speed weapon dependent instead of it all being the exact same throughout. More like HDest, hint hint.

Anyways, one of the more polarizing features of this mod is the demand for the player to guide a companion, Kate, throughout the whole thing. It's quite unlike BShift where Rosenberg is controlled more by scripted_sequences rather than the player, which I imagine results in a fair few frustrations on the player's end trying to get Kate to follow them. I might've done some edits here and there, but to detail the most visible changes:

You'll note weapons here that have ASheep's barney hands instead of HEV ones. I've always felt that ASheep's whole holster/draw schtick worked better under the security guard idea, falling apart when Just Barney does that even after donning the HEV. Let's just say that as a result, I feel more compelled converting ASheep into an exclusively barney arms only mod.

Kate in my addon has also been altered, not only being faster in general, but also sporting a faster shooting MP5K compared to the old Glock (it's still the 9mmhandgun in code, I just made her shoot faster with a different submodel). I thought about having a player_loadsaved thing if Kate dies, but there's really no reason for the player to bring her along, so I might as well focus on making the player want to bring Kate along rather than being forced to.

Since batteries are useless, wirejamming'll pretty much have me replace all item_batteries with weapon_kmedkit as well. More reasons to bring her along with you. Kinda wish that you could arm her with different weapons, but that's something a different yet similar mod'll allow you to do...
