In 2016, Millicent almost died due to iron deficiency anemia in Ghana. Her blood level was as low as 4.3g/dl^3 and was admitted at the Ridge Hospital in Accra. After several failed trials to restore her blood level, one doctor told her to try using Turkey Berry as a drink. Her husband, Bright went to Madina market in Accra and saw the market women selling the turkey berry fruits on the floor about USD 0.10 for a few balls tied in a rubber. He purchased enough fruits and turned it into a drink and gave to his wife. He later decided to add the blended fruits to all her meals and guess what happened? --- After 2 weeks, Millicent recovered! Glory to God! Her blood level moved from 4.3g/dl^3 to 10.3g/dl^3.

This near-death experience was the catalyst which threw Millicent and Bright into the laboratory. Millicent is a trained Food Scientist and Bright is a Chemist by profession. Two (2) years later, after several research into their new discovery, Millicent invented organic food products from the same plant that can help prevent anemia as well as help anemic people recover from it. The husband joined her later to establish Achiever Foods Limited. The couple quit their jobs and began a journey to save lives using their inventions from the plant that saved Millicent's life.

Today, Achiever Foods Limited has invented 22 different lines of organic food products serving varying purposes with focus on anemia and lifestyle diseases.
