Beehive Inspection -2 months old from nuc

This video is of a hive inspection on a very young/new hive. The hive came from a five frame nuc and were transferred to the green hive body on June 7th. I have been feeding them a 1-1 syrup (which probably could have been thinner) but they seem to be doing very well.
Aaron M. traveled up to walk me through the hive and in all I think we found the hive healthy, happy and a calm bunch of bees.I will continue to feed up to winter and get them as well established before the go into winter. Temps in winter can be very cold in the area of SW Virginia. Specifically the NRV. but also there is alot of humidity due to the river, mountains, valleys etc. So moisture could be issues ...maybe not.

In ALL we had a great day with a bunch of laughs AND located a bald faced wasp nest that had been giving me trouble....mowing the yard ..not beekeeping.. so very productive afternoon.
